Mothers and Prioritizing
Let it also be a time to consider that a mother’s work is never done—and there is no end to both the contributions and responsibilities of motherhood. Coupled with an unfortunate tendency for many husbands to neglect helping around the house—and you have one tired lady! It is essential that mothers learn to prioritize their time and energy, and that their husbands make sure the Mother of their children is given their full, sacrificial support! Is there any other role that demands so much self-sacrifice and an attitude of giving? And yet, one great way to be a successful mother is to start by being a successful wife. Both husband and wife do their children a favor by loving each other! When a mother and father are able to balance their responsibilities with romantic love and a healthy marriage, they model for their children what marriage and family are all about. This can only happen by prioritizing time and energy to refocus on enriching your marriage. Husbands, use Mother’s Day as an excuse to pamper and please your wife, honoring her in full view of your children—she deserves it! Need a simple idea of how to do that? Give her two red roses, each with a note. The first note says "For the woman I love" and the second, "For my best friend".
