| Hi! Sex Ranks Second in Canadian's Time-Conversion Plans this Past Weekend Image: Suat Eman / FreeDigitalPhotos.net Did you catch an extra hour of sleep this past weekend…or use it for lovemaking? A new poll shows that most Canadians would opt for the zzz’s. The Daylight Savings Time survey by Canada’s Leger Marketing says that 53% of Canadians would opt for extra sleep over lovemaking when the clocks went back Saturday night/Sunday morning. (Check the entire article here.) This article indicated the majority of people were planning on using the time change this weekend to catch up on extra sleep, rather than having sex! Take our Short Survey! So how did you and your spouse spend the extra hour this past weekend? Use our short survey below to let us know your answer. A winner will be chosen by a random draw. If you are selected as the winner of the contest, we will be contacting you via email. Please doublecheck that you correctly enter your email address on the survey form!
Another Milestone for The Intimate Couple Website! If you haven't yet taken the Intimacy Survey, you and your spouse should each do the survey followed by a conversation to discuss your responses. Use this time to commit to doing whatever it takes to deepen the intimacy in your marriage and improve the health of your relationship! Recommended Reading? ![]() We've all heard that it's good for couples to read books that encourage marriage improvement. Jim and I have gathered up quite a library of books on love, romance, sex and more! We both happen to enjoy reading in order to learn how to be better spouses and to improve our marriage. It may also be that many men (we're not saying all) just aren't as interested in reading as women are or, if men do read, they might prefer a news or sports magazine, or perhaps a best-selling novel over a marriage improvement book. As well, considering how many couples lead such busy lives, it can be really difficult to find the time to read much of anything (except perhaps the kids' school newsletters or the bills that come in the mailbox!) Seriously though, many of us do realize the benefit of learning from what others have to say about marriage, so how can we increase the amount of reading we do?! Here are just two tips that we've used to boost the amount of reading we are able to fit into our lives. The key is to multi-task!
So, dust off a good marriage enrichment book from your personal library and be creative in finding time to read it!
Thanks for reading! We'll be in touch again soon! Sincerely, Jim and Carrie ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Follow us on Twitter @IntimateCouple or Facebook |
