A Young Husband & Father Feels Blessed

Dear ________,
While I'm writing this letter, you are shopping, and I am at home thinking about you: remarking to myself how fortunate and blessed I am to have you as my wife. As I sit here, I feel so happy to be married to you. I notice a smile spreading across my face attesting to that fact.
I found it difficult in the past (and more so, now) to wonder why the Lord would bless me so much with you, and little __________ (child's name). It humbles a man when he considers the blessing of his family when he knows most people are not as blessed. As I wrote this a thought occurred to me: perhaps that is why I am so blessed—so that I would be humbled!
In some ways, I suppose, we are very different from one another—not so much that we conflict—but enough to make our life together fresh and dynamic.
I reminisce with fondness our engagement, and our first year or so of marriage; yet, I am enjoying you as my wife at least as much as then—probably more. I love you dearly, sweetheart, and desire to make you happy and fulfilled.
I should mention to you, ___________, that I am very pleased with you as a wife and mother of our child. You are an outstanding mother! I really appreciate you and all of your abilities. You are exactly what I think my wife should be! In fact, you are more than I could have wished for, sweetheart!
Love,
