Yesterday was just a regular and ordinary day, but my husband made it special and unique. To do that, all he did was give me an "un-birthday" card! He simply bought a fun "From Your Adoring Husband" birthday card and inserted "un" in front of the word "birthday". Then he added a lot of special personal notes to the card including

"I should get you a card every day! You'd deserve it, my sweetheart. Everyday I want to renew and refresh my love for you!"
"Since this card was so ultra-cool, I knew you deserved itand I couldn't wait for your birthday!"
"Yes, of course, I'm being silly againbut never think the silliness diminishes the real value of the messagethat I value you, cherish you, and am grateful every day that you're my wife. Hence, this un-birthday card is celebration of this special day: the first day of the rest of our life together!"
One of my favourite notes was where Jim became extra creative. He wrote an acrostic using the Alphabet! Each letter of the alphabet was another adjective he used to describe me. For example "You are Awesome, Benevolent, Cool, Dependable, Excellent, etc. " I totally loved it!

Don't wait for a special day to express your love. Too many spouses limit their special expressions of love to birthdays, anniversaries, and other special calendar days. When you give a loveletter, card, or other gift for no reason other than that you love your spouse, you prove that your inspiration for giving is more than the calendar. It is your love and commitment towards your spouse that compels you to be loving, thoughtful, and giving.
