I prepared a spa evening for my wife. I bought a DVD on Reflexology (foot massage) watched and learned that skill, read how to give a facial, manicure and pedicure. Filled the living room with magazines from a local salon, put on a movie that she would enjoy and prepared a great dinner. I made sure there were chocolates and sparkling juice. I changed the light bulbs in the house to pink light (it softens the light and makes things look "better"). I also placed candles throughout the house. I placed sheers in the windows for privacy and set up a massage table near the fire. I followed through with the foot massage, facial, manicure, pedicure and massage. She felt like a queen and it cost me $15, my time and a little learning. What a great night it was and she knows that I cherish her because I stepped out of my comfort zone and served her.
