what about oral sex and swallowing semen

My wife says that she doesn't like to have semen in her mouth. She has done it sometimes; she did it recently after a couple of years. She enjoys me going down on her, but she says semen shouldn't go in there. She says that she knows that it is not wrong in the Bible, but she still can't get it out of her mind that it doesn't belong in her mouth.

I have tried to forget about this; but I can't stop thinking about it. And sometimes I feel very frustrated especially as sometimes her cyles have made me have to wait for a few weeks. Can you tell me what I should do? I love my wife, we have been married for 28 years, she has done it every once in a while, but the last time was the first in a few years.

I have heard that drinking pineapple juice is supposed to make my semen better, but my wife says that she doesn't care.

Answer: Sex is a very intimate act between husband and wife and sensitivity to one another is very important. You are to be commended for not insisting your wife perform what she is uncomfortable doing. Here are two other ideas:

1. Why not suggest that you'd be willing to wear a condom during oral sex?
2. Have you and your wife explored manual stimulation by hand?

Both of these options could be a solution for your frustration during times that your wife is having her menstrual period/cycle.

Keep communicating with your wife about what she enjoys and what you enjoy.
