What should I do for my marriage?

by Sharon
(Blairsville , GA)

We live in Blairsville, Ga. My husband is from Alaska and I am from Michigan. I am here in Ga by way of Florida.

Now to the problem. There are really no jobs here. Unless you have been lucky enough to have jobs that didn't let you go or lock their doors...My husband is one that couldn't get a job at McDonalds--overqualified they say.

So my husband packed his stuff and is looking in Alaska for work where he has friends and family. I am still in GA taking care of the home and animals...dogs, chickens and cats. I really love my husband and I am not happy with this situation. I am really thinking about moving there too just to be with my husband. It wouldn't be my place to land live either and I have no idea what to do. Any advice would be a big help. Thank you so much.

Our Answer:
Your marriage relationship should always come before "where you live". Follow your husband!
